EVANS AND EVANS is the result of years of preparation and dedication to Wildlife Management and the practical application of that management through the sport of hunting. Compiled of many acres of flooded crops and bottom land with standing timber, scattered around West Central Missouri, Evans and Evans is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the “Funnel” of waterfowl in their annual migration through the Mississippi Flyway. You won't find a privately held piece of property in the United States that has as many acres of managed water control structures in the heart of historic waterfowl hunting.
As hundreds of thousands of traveling waterfowl head south every year, EVANS AND EVANS is considered the “Bermuda Triangle of Waterfowl.”
Being bordered by Missouri’s Grand Pass (Water Management Area (WMA), Swan Lake Federal Wildlife Refuge and Fountain Grove WMA, EVANS AND EVANS offers the sportsman the opportunity to see some of the area’s highest concentrations of waterfowl as they winter during their annual migration.
These three nationally recognized wildlife refuges have developed a reputation for “Holding” birds in the region. But open water isn’t the only thing these birds like about the area.
Over the years, as EVANS AND EVANS has developed their wildlife management practices, they have provided these traveling birds with high protein food plots and professionally managed wetlands. This allows them the opportunity to stay in the area longer, which affords both the seasoned, as well as the rookie sportsman, an opportunity to enjoy Mother Nature’s bounty...

...and thats just the
waterfowl!
Although some of this country’s finest waterfowl can be experienced at Evans and Evans outdoors, visitors to EVANS AND EVANS OUTDOORS can enjoy a large and meticulously managed Whitetail Deer population as well. With Pope and Young quality dear, EVANS AND EVANS can offer hunters and wildlife enthusiast the opportunity to experience some of the best fair chase hunting available anywhere.
Where the deer go, so do the wild turkeys. Over 70,000 wild turkeys were harvested in the state of Missouri during the 2006 season, with a very large percentage taken from the West Central Region of the state. The Wild Turkey Federation continues to recognize that Missouri still has some of the best turkey hunting in the Nation (Missouri Dept. of Conservation website, 2009).
Our first rate deer hunting is a one of a kind experience. We offer both archery and rifle hunting opportunities. Combination packages are also available.
